Edge AI Platform

Edge Platform

The Edge Platform runs directly at the edge, close to cameras, sensors, and machines within the sorting environment.

What it does

The Edge Platform module enables applications and operational services to run directly within the sorting facility, close to the equipment generating the data. By processing information locally, the system delivers ultra-low latency and ensures that time-critical decisions can be executed immediately.

This architecture allows sorting operations to continue running reliably even when connectivity to central systems or cloud services is limited or temporarily unavailable.

Key capabilities

• Ultra-low latency processing running applications directly at the edge for immediate operational responses.
• Immediate decision-making at the source enabling real-time decisions where data is generated without delays from centralized systems.
• Local operational resilience maintaining sorting operations even when network connectivity is disrupted.
• Proximity to operational systems processing data close to cameras, sensors, and machines for maximum performance.
• High availability architecture ensuring continuous operation in mission-critical sorting environments.

Optimized for real-time applications supporting AI models, robotics control, and other time-sensitive processes.
