Can you apply the latest tooling to identify vulnerabilities and implement security controls? Do you like to work in an innovative company with various ICT and development teams and educate them about best practices in cyber security?

We are looking for you to join us as Cyber Security Specialist to ensure our software solutions meet and exceed the latest security and quality standards and help to shape our product portfolio and security offerings.

Your job

You will start as Cyber Security Specialist within the Security Team and will collaborate closely with software development and infrastructure teams as well as our support organization. You will work primarily in our office in Delft where you can easily connect with the different teams and can stay engaged in everything that’s happening at Prime Vision.

You will select and deploy security tooling and best-practises, conduct thorough security assessments and advise on and enforce the security and compliance measures among the different teams to ensure our products are cyber secure.

This role has a strong technical focus and requires a can-do mentality. 

Your day-to-day tasks:

  • Conduct regular security scans and evaluations of our internal IT and product suite to identify vulnerabilities and compliance issues and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance and training to development teams on secure coding practices and security tooling for the software development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with software developers, infrastructure engineers, testers, architects, and project managers to integrate quality and security measures throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and compare off-the-shelf security tooling to improve security processes and prepare an implementation design.
  • Implement and operate automated security testing tools and processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies and apply them to improve our security posture.
  • Continuously review security configurations and implement improvements to ensure compliance with industry standards and changes in regulations.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, software engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and eagerness to continuously stay up-do-date.
  • Minimum of 3 -4 years of experience in cybersecurity and / or software development and an interest in safeguarding quality & compliance.
  • Experience with security scanning and monitoring tools such as Nessus Pro, ARMO, ZAP, Sonarcube, Dependabot, Grafana, Splunk, Wazuh or similar.
  • Understanding of source code written in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
  • Understanding of network and computer and cloud security.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR OWASP and NIST.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
